Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and currently unemployed. However, that didn't stop me from achieving some of my goals such as passing the March 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers and as a guest speaker at my school's 31st moving-up ceremony.
I ran my fictional song contest called the Eurostars Teen Song Contest and became a competitor at some of the online song contests.
What is your Eurovision journey?
My Eurovision journey began when I watched a Jeopardy! episode from 2007 where one of the clues at that time was about the Eurovision Song Contest. Then, when I was in my first year in high school, I watched online the final part of the exciting voting sequence of the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest.
Since then, I watched DW's journey of the 2010 Eurovision, watching voting sequences on YouTube at the time, and I managed to play Eurovision simulators. Although I can't attend in person to watch the Eurovision because of the distance from the Philippines and I would've needed strict supervision from my parents, I watched some of the highlights online.
Do you have any affinity to nations other than Australia?
I am born and raised in the Philippines, and I have no affinity with nations other than the Philippines or Australia.
Any Aussievision highlights?
Some of my Aussievision highlights involve the Aussievision fan survey, ranking some of the National Finals, and statistics. I think this community is welcoming to everyone, and I hope there will be more Filipino Eurovision fans like me who will play a big role in the development and familiarisation of Eurovision to the Asia-Pacific community.
