Tell us a little bit about yourself
I’m originally from Melbourne, Australia, but moved to the United Kingdom to live with my equally Eurovision-obsessed partner. When I’m not living and breathing all things Eurovision, I work as a marketing assistant for a care company. In my spare time, I’m a big F1 fan and I also enjoy following football (both Aussie Rules and the round ball game), cheering on my favourite teams, the Richmond Tigers and Liverpool FC.
What is your Eurovision journey?
When I was in high school, my French teacher assigned us some homework of watching Eurovision. I ended up being so captivated by the contest - the fun songs, the extravagant outfits, and wacky stage shows - that I made sure to watch Eurovision every year since then. I was so excited when Australia joined the contest in 2015 and I got to vote for the first time!
I joined OGAE Australia in 2017 after stumbling upon one of their events on social media, signing up for the club the very next day, as I felt like I had found “my people”. I made a Twitter account in late-2018 that was solely dedicated to Eurovision and it was fantastic to connect with Eurovision fans from all over the world. Then, when Aussievision put out the call-out for new contributors to join, I jumped at the chance, and joined the Aussievision team in late-2019.
I was lucky enough to attend Eurovision in person in 2022 and 2023. Driving to the contest in Liverpool from my home in Derbyshire was a really special experience and something that not many people can say they have done!
Moving to the UK has opened a lot of Eurovision doors for me, but having experienced Eurovision fandom in Australia and knowing what it’s like to wake up at very early hours to watch all the national finals and the contest itself, I consider myself very fortunate to be able to travel to many different national finals and Eurovision itself. I want to give something back to all the dedicated and passionate Aussie Eurovision fans, and that is what I hope to do with my work at Aussievision.
Do you have any affinity with nations other than Australia?
I have been living in the United Kingdom for over two years now so the UK has become a second home for me. I’m also half-Italian, so I have a connection to Italy as well. Although I’m usually quite harsh on their entries (it’s tough love), when there’s one I love, it tends to do very well at the contest. And of course Estonia is one of my favourite nations at Eurovision! Tallinn is a magical city and I hope I can come back and see more of Estonia in the future.
Any Aussievision highlights?
From covering episodes of The Masked Singer Australia to pass the time during COVID lockdowns, to reporting on Eesti Laul on the ground in Tallinn for Aussievision, there have been so many amazing highlights of my time here! In 2024, in collaboration with other Eurovision fansites, we put together an Eesti Laul press poll for the first time, and it was fantastic to see what the mostly-Estonian media thought of the performances.
In 2025, I also got to travel to Malta, report on MESC, and see MESC live in the audience. The Maltese Eurovision fans have so much heart, and interviewing the winner, Miriana Conte, was definitely one of my Aussievision highlights!

Quick questions on Eurovision entries
Best winner:
Wild Dances - Ruslana (2004)
Favourite three non-Australian entries:
Cool Vibes - Vanilla Ninja (Switzerland 2005)
(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea (me) küll midagi - 5MIINUST (Estonia 2024)
Hold Me Closer - Cornelia Jakobs (Sweden 2022)
Favourite Australian entry:
Zero Gravity - Kate Miller-Heidke (2019). I have some very fond memories of Australia Decides 2019. It was the first national final I ever attended and having a national final on Australian soil for the first time was incredibly special. Then to see the staging glow up from the national final to Eurovision was absolutely out-of-this-world. Kate deserved so much better than 9th place!
Makes you dance:
Fuego - Eleni Foureira (2018) and Loco Loco - Hurricane (2021)…anything with some excellent hairography!
Favourite non-qualifier:
Verona - Koit Toome & Laura (2017) and That Night - Carousel (2019)
Favourite Eurovision year:
2009 was the first Eurovision I watched and it holds a special place in my heart, but 2023 is my favourite Eurovision year. The BBC and Suspilne went all out to produce an amazing show with plenty of highlights from British and Ukrainian culture, and the Liverpool locals really got into the Eurovision spirit.
Favourite national finals:
Eesti Laul, Eurovision: Australia Decides, Supernova and UMK.
Favourite national final songs:
Annalisa - Sinceramente
KEiiNO - Monument
La Rappresentante Di Lista - Ciao Ciao
Scooter - Jigga Jigga!
Megara - Arcadia
