Electro-pop trio Mamagama who are representing Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2025 in Basel have now released their song Run With U.
The announcement that Mamagama would represent the caucus country was made back on 5 February 2025.
About Mamagama
While the band only formed in 2021, they have already won an award for best international artist in Albania's music festival Kënga Magjike. You can check out their music on their YouTube page here.
Mamagama were selected to represent their country through a closed process ran by the Azeri broadcaster Ä°TV. They were shortlisted as one of the 12 acts and were chosen as the 2025 representative by a local and international jury including previous Azerbaijan Eurovision representatives.
Mamagama will be looking to put an end to Azerbaijan's poor result of non-qualifications in the last two editions of the Contest.
Azerbaijan at Eurovision
Azerbaijan made their Eurovision debut in 2008 and have every competed every year since. Out of their 16 appearances at the Contest they have now missed the Grand Final three times. Azerbaijan won the Contest in 2011 with Ell and Nikki's duet Running Scared. They have also scored a second place with Farid Mammadov's Hold Me.
