Belgium: Artists announced for 'Eurosong 2023'



Belgian Broadcaster VRT announced today the seven acts in the running to represent Belgium in Liverpool with the return of the 'Eurosong' national final next year. Each artist will have two songs each for a total of 14 entries competing in the national final.


The artists competing are:

  1. Chérine

  2. Ameerah

  3. The Starlings

  4. Hunter Falls

  5. Loredana

  6. Gustaph

  7. Gala Dragot

Recognisable artists in this group of competitors include Tom Dice, one half of The Starlings who represented Belgium at Eurovision in 2010 with 'Me and My Guitar'.


Previous Eurosong participants include Ameerah who previously took part in 2004 under the name Astrid Roelants with her song 'Don't Stop the Music' and Loredana, who took part in Eurosong 2014 as part of 2 Fabiola.


Another act who has some Eurovision experience under their belt is Gustaph who did backing vocals for Sennek and Hooverphonic at the contest in 2018 and 2021.



The artist and song will be selected by the Belgian public alongside a professional jury in a televised final on January 14 at the Palais 12 arena in Brussels.
