EMMY's story in the show sparked great interest given she is a Norwegian competing in an Irish Eurovision selection singing about a Soviet dog who went to space.
She previously competed in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix in 2021 where she reached the Grand Final.
She will be hoping to follow in Bambie Thug's footsteps, with the latter placing sixth in the Eurovision Grand Final - equalling Ireland's best result in the contest this century.
Ireland will be performing in the first half of the second semi-final of Eurovision 2025 on May 15 Europe time. Australia is in the same half of that semi-final.
