
The release date of Autsralia's Eurovision 2025 song has been announced.
The wait is nearly over!
News has been thin on the ground in relation to Australia's act for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel - but that's about to all change, with a date finally having been set for the announcement of Electric Fields' successors.
In a social media update showing the week ahead, the EBU has revealed that Australia will debut its song for the contest this year on 25 February 2025 at 7:00pm CET.
Australian times of the Eurovision 2025 release
Australian viewers will spot that this means another early start in order to discover our entry for this year, with the song debuting at the following times across the country:
5:00am on 26 February 2025 in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT;
4:30am on 26 February 2025 in South Australia;
4:00am on 26 Febryary 2025 in Queensland;
3:30am on 26 February 2025 in the Northern Territory; and
2:00am on 26 February 2025 in Western Australia.
Australia was represented at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest by fan favourite act Electric Fields with their song One Milkali (One Blood), a proud display of Yankunytjatjara culture from the southern part of the Australian continent.
At the time of writing, Australia is ranked 19th in the odds to win Eurovision 2025. However, despite fan speculation, there is currently no news as to who might be in the running to represent Australia at Eurovision 2025.
