Five Eurovision artists have been announced as nominees for this years MTV EMAs (European Music Awards).
The class of 2024 was well represented with three nominations.
Slimane was nominated for Best French Act, Angelina Mango for Best Italian Act, and Eurovision winner, Nemo, for Best Swiss Act
Mahmood (2019 & 2022) was also nominated for Best Italian Act and Noa Kirel (2023) for Best Israeli Act.
Also among the nominees were many national final performers. These included Annalisa, Ghalid and The Kolors for Best Italian Act, Bárbara Tinoco for Best Portuguese Act and Ana Mena for Best Spanish Act.
Ana Mena has not performed at Benidorm Fest but did take part in Sanremo in 2022.
In the 2023 edition, Eurovision artists took home four awards:
Best Rock: Måneskin
Best Italian Act: Måneskin
Best Nordic Act: Käärijä
Best Swiss Act: Gjon’s Tears
The 2024 MTV EMAs occur on Sunday 10 November in Manchester, United Kingdom.
