Eurovision's smallest country has wrapped their lengthy national selection. Italian DJ Gabry Ponte was announced as having the honour of representing the micronation at Eurovision 2025 with his song Tutta l'Italia ("All of Italy").

Gabry Ponte was joined by Andrea Bonomo who provides the main vocal melody of Tutta l'Italia. Andrea is also known for his songwriting capabilities in the Italian music industry, penning iconic tunes including Dove Si Balla, Pazza, Fatti avanti amore and Voglio.

Fans of the Italian National Selection process Sanremo Music Festival are familiar with the song as it was the official theme song for the festival. Tutta l'Italia was already a viral hit before the Sammarinese national selection - hitting #23 on the Italian charts and racking up a healthy 5 million streams on Spotify and 9.5 million views on YouTube.

Gabry Ponte has had a successful career as an internationally acclaimed Italian musician, DJ and producer. He's a former member of Eiffel 65, known for the smash hits Blue (Da Ba Dee) and Move Your Body. His solo career has produced many charting singles including Thunder (with Lum!x and Prezioso), Monster (with Lum!x) and The Passenger (LaLaLa) (with Lum!x and Mokaby and D.T.E).

San Marino will compete at Eurovision for the sixteenth time in the 2025 contest. They made their debut in 2008 and have made the final three times. Their most successful entry remains Say Na Na Na which was sung by Turkish national Serhat in 2019, which finished in 19th place.

The micronation will compete in the second half of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025. The national final result could be seen as an excellent strategic move by San Marino given Gabry Ponte's home country Italy will be voting in that semi-final.
