Germany: Chefsache ESC 2025 heat 1 results

The results of Germany's first heat of its national final Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland? are out.

The nation is taking a more unusual approach with their national final this year.

Artists in the first heat perform a cover (or one of their older songs) to showcase their talents.

Then in the semi-finals and final they will perform their song for Eurovision.

12 artists competed this morning with seven going through.

These were decided by a 100% jury vote.

The acts qualifying for the semi-finals:

• Benjamin Braatz - Breakfast

• Cage - Wrong Places

• Cosby - Loved for Who I Am

• Feuerschwanz - Dragonstea din tei

• Jonathan Henrich - Golden Hour

The five missing out were:

• Chase - Million Years Ago

• Enny-Mae & Paradigm - Arcade

• Equa Tu - Gaga

• Fannie - Easy

• Janine - Can't Help Falling in Love

The second heat of  Chefsache ESC 2025 takes place tomorro with metalcore band From Fall to Spring one of the more well-known acts competing.
