And now, just moments ago, the eight pre-selected artists and songs that will compete to represent Germany on the Eurovision stage have been revealed!

Here are the eight artists and songs who will definitely be in the running for Liverpool:
Anica Russo - 'Once Upon A Dream'
Frida Gold - 'Alle Frauen in mir sind müde'
Lonely Spring - 'Misfit'
Lord of the Lost - 'Blood And Glitter'
Patty Gurdy - 'Melodies of Hope'
René Miller - 'Concrete Heart'
TRONG - 'Dare to be Different'
Will Church - 'Hold On'
A significant artist for the Asia Pacific region is TRONG. TRONG grew up in Germany but competed on 'Vietnam Idol' and won the sixth season of the show.

TikTok, an official partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, will be used by Germany to select the final act and entry taking part in its national final.
This wildcard act, which will be chosen by a public vote, will be one of the following:
Betül Akmar - 'Heaven'
From Fall To Spring - 'Draw The Line'
Ikke Hüftgold - 'Lied Mit Gutem Text'
JONA - '10/10'
Leslie Clio - 'Free Again'
Mitchy & André Katawazi und NashUp - 'Summertime'
The voting window runs from 13:00 CET today until 20:00 CET on Friday, 3 February. The result of the vote will be announced on the first edition of new show 'Alles Eurovision' at 18:00 CET on Saturday, 4 February live on eurovision.de.
Voters will require a TikTok account. One vote can be cast per day.
'Unser Lied für Liverpool'
The German national final 'Unser Lied für Liverpool' will be held at MMC Studios, Cologne from 22:20 CET on Friday, 3 March and will be livestreamed on the Das Erste app and via the official German Eurovision website www.eurovision.de.
50% of the points in the final will be allocated by eight juries in eight different countries, with each jury being composed of five people. The other 50% will be determined by the German public via online voting in the run-up to the show, together with televoting and voting by SMS.
