Iceland: Söngvakeppnin 2025 semi-final 1 results

Icelandic broadcaster Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV) held the first semi final of this year's national final Söngvakeppnin 2025. In a change to previous competitions, no wildcard will be awarded instead 3 acts from each semi-final will compete in the final.

Advancing to the final were:

Stebbi Jak – Frelsið Mitt

Ágúst – Eins og þú

Væb – Róa

Eliminated from the competition were:

Birgo – Ég flýg í storminn

Bia – Norðurljós

Semi-final 2 will take place next week on 16 February (Australian time) at 6.45am ADST with the with the Final scheduled for 23 February (Australian time).
