This Friday (Saturday in Australia), Irish broadcaster RTÉ will choose its representative for Eurovision 2022 through the return of its national final 'Eurosong'.
Eurosong will be airing as part of the long-running late-night talk show 'The Late Late Show'.
A total of six participants will take part in the national final, with the winner being selected by a 50/50 split of both jury (national and international), and public voting.
Included in the entries is Irish 2017 representative Brendan Murray as well as alumni from 'The Voice UK' and the 'The X Factor UK'.
The show will be hosted by Ryan Tubridy (pictured above) as a special episode of 'The Late Late Show'.
The six participants, in their running order, are as follows:
1. Patrick O'Sullivan - 'One Night, One Kiss, One Promise'
Songwriters: Nicky Byrne, Lar Kaye, and Dany O'Reilly
Patrick recently won RTÉ’s 'Last Singer Standing' and has experience in London's West End including 'Oliver', 'The Book of Mormon' and 'Dr. Doolittle'. The song is co-written by 2016 Irish Eurovision representative Nicky Bryne.
2. Janet Grogan - 'Ashes of Yesterday'
Songwriters: Aidan O'Connor, John Emil, and Sandra Wikström
Janet participated in the 13th series of 'The X Factor UK' and has been a backing singer at Eurovision to both Nicky Byrne and Ryan O'Shaughnessy in 2016 and 2018.
3. Brendan Murray - 'Real Love'
Songwriters: Brendan Murray, and Darrell Coyle
Brendan is no stranger to Eurovision having represented Ireland at the 2017 contest with 'Dying To Try', where he finished 13th in that semi-final. He is a former member of the boy band HomeTown and went on to compete at 'The X Factor UK' 2018 finishing in fifth place.
4. Miles Graham - 'Yeah, We're Gonna Get Out of It'
Songwriters: Miles Graham Miley, Justin Broad, and Paul Herman
Miles is a Dublin born singer-songwriter who incorporates soulful pop lyrics and musicality to create unique and personal tracks. His latest EP 'All The Right Things' has been largely praised locally for it's high quality production and raw lyricism.
5. Rachel Goode - 'I'm Loving Me'
Songwriters: Joakim Övrenius, Thomas Karlsson, Johan Mauritzson, and Anna Engh
Rachel is a classically trained singer who infuses various genres into her style and performances. She has a bachelor Music degree from DIT and a Masters in Opera Performance from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
6. Brooke Scullion - 'That's Rich'
Songwriters: Brooke Scullion, Izzy Warner, and Karl Zine
A graduate of 'The Voice UK' (2020) - Brooke went all the way through to the Grand fFnal as Meghan Trainor's protégé, finishing with a strong Top 4 finish.
She is currently the fan favourite on My EurovisionScoreboard and finished on top of the Aussievision team's rankings.
'The Late Late Show: Eurosong 2022' airs at 22:35 CET on Friday 4 February which will be 8:35am AEDT Saturday 5 February in Australia. You can watch it on the RTE player.
