Isaiah and Evie reveal details on their Australia Decides collaboration 'When I'm With You'

There are now only days to go until the Friday release of the highly anticipated song, 'When I'm With You', by Isaiah Firebrace and Evie Irie. The pair have revealed details on their collaboration and what to expect from the song.

Isaiah and Evie have released a video, shown above, of the pair chatting at Torquay Beach, Victoria, where they write out the song title of their Australia Decides entry in the sand.

The pair also revealed further details about their collaboration, stating that the entry is a true love song.

Isaiah shared:

"It's a cool song, it's got a cool vibe to it. With me when I'm in the studio when I get a good positive feel for a song I know it's great. That's what I get from this song."

Evie added:

"So when I was in the studio when we were first in the studio writing the song I was so encapsulated by your voice. Obviously, my style is so different to your style... I don't sing usually what we wrote together, that's not my vibe, but when we were there [in the studio] let me jump in let me do the verse. I feel like our voices blend in so well."

Isaiah's duet partner, Evie was only revealed by SBS a week ago. The Sydney-born singer-songwriter recently returned home following a stint in LA. Evie has been channelling her pop punk dreams into songwriting with some of the country's most progressive producers.
