'Il Volo Sings Morricone' is an album with 14 songs recalling legendary melodies from the Italian composer Maestro Morricone.

The album consists of the songs 'L'estasi dell'oro', which, for the first time ever includes lyrics written by Andrea Morricone specifically for Il Volo, and 'I colori dell'amore' ('The colours of love'), an unreleased track composed by Andrea Morricone for the trio. The song was unexpectedly performed live for the first time, together with other songs by Ennio Morricone, at a big concert held at the Arena di Verona on June 5, 2021.
