"He's baaaack! I absolutely adore the build up and release of this song, Italian rap mixed in with a more traditional melodic chorus. I want to have this sound sung to me and then be slapped it's that good." ~Liv
9. Sarah Toscano – Amarcord (22 points)
Highs: 7 points Cooper & Dale. 4 points Joel. 3 points Troy.
Lows: 0 points Liv, Tim & John Christian. 1 point Craig.
"A lovely new face to Sanremo - a few more years under her belt and she'll be contending for bigger results" ~Liv
8. Clara – Febbre (23 points)
Highs: 12 points Tim. 7 points John Christian. 4 points Cooper.
Lows: 0 points Liv, Joel, Troy, Dale & Craig.
"This just has great Italian pop written all over. It’s easy listening and we know that Clara can belt this out live. It has just the right energy to it that makes it really stand out for me. I think this is genuinely a great song for this year." ~Tim
7. Olly – Balorda nostalgia (26 points)
Highs: 8 points Troy & Dale. 4 points Liv.
Lows: 0 points Tim & John Christian. 1 point Joel.
"Ho una cotta per questo ragazzo. He’s gorgeous. What a dreamboat. Oh, I guess the song is good, too." ~Troy
6. The Kolors – Tu con chi fai l’amore? (30 points)
Highs: 12 points Troy. 10 points Cooper. 8 points Craig.
Lows: 0 points Liv, Joel, Dale, Tim & John Christian.
"Whilst I enjoyed their effort more last year, this is almost matching the quality. It is funky and such fun to listen and watch. It is one of two songs that would be the best fit for Eurovision in this line-up" ~Cooper
"Don’t lose your heart at the disco, but if you do The Kolors offer up the perfect soundtrack for your dance floor amore. What a bop!" ~Troy
5. Rose Villain – Fuorilegge (34 points)
Highs: 10 points Craig. 8 points Cooper. 7 points Tim.
Lows: 0 points Liv & John Christian. 1 point Troy.
"In any other national final this would be an obvious winner, but in Italy it's not even in contention. Catchy hook, dramatic build-up and a very cool aesthetic presentation from Rose, I love this." ~Craig
4. Achille Lauro – Incoscienti giovani (42 points)
Highs: 12 points Dale. 8 points Tim. 7 points Joel & Craig.
Lows: 0 points Liv & Troy. 2 points Cooper.
"As much as I like Achille Lauro, I've never really connected as much with his music. However that all changed with Incoscienti giovani. It was the one song from the 29 that really grabbed me on first listen/performance. Sure, some could "sing" it better and it is kind of a simple little ballad, but Achille's vulnerable vocal and his delivery (and the sax) just bring it all together. Adore it!" ~Dale
3. Elodie – Dimenticarsi alle 7 (46 points)
Highs: 10 points Joel. 8 points John Christian. 7 points Troy.
Lows: 0 points Dale. 5 points Liv.
"I love the power of music - this song just makes me smile every time I hear it! Elodie’s sultry voice is exactly what I wanna hear representing Italy at Eurovision! This will definitely be the track that I keep coming back to from San Remo 2025." ~Joel
2. Giorgia – La cura per me (48 points)
Highs: 12 points Liv, Joel & John Christian. 5 points Craig.
Lows: 0 points Cooper & Troy. 3 points Tim.
"To me this is reminiscent of a happier version of 2023’s Due Vite, which is probably why it gets my 12 points. But it just doesn’t reach the same emotional depths as Marco Mengoni’s Sanremo winner. Great song, and don’t get me wrong, I keep listening to it on high rotation - I just want even more from it." ~Joel
"If Justyna, who represented Poland in Eurovision 1995, went on to win the right to represent her country 30 years later, I think it might apply to Giorgia, who won Sanremo 1995, but did not have the chance to represent Italy in Eurovision at that time. I think it is time for her to shine, just like Laura Pausini, and the song itself is just perfect because it gives me the vibes of true Italian music." ~John Christian
"This is her year - the boys will all be squabbling with their jury friendly songs and Giorgia will sweep right through and take the crown. She has ***the*** vocal of the year and is the only artist ticking all boxes with the provisional jury results and the public. She's gonna do it I can sense it." ~Liv
WINNER: Fedez – Battito (58 points)
Highs: 12 points Cooper & Craig. 10 points Dale & Tim. 8 points Liv.
Lows: 0 points Joel & John Christian. 6 points Troy.
"This song is contemporary, edgy and on the pulse of current music trends. We haven't really seen a song like this compete at Eurovision and I really would love it to be Battito who brings the vibes to Basel" ~Cooper
"One of the few songs in the line-up that sound like something from the top of the Italian charts. This is contemporary, DRAMATIC (especially with that orchestra!) and Fedez delivers on the vocal and performance." ~Dale
"Look up the lyrics at your own risk!" ~Liv
"I didn’t think I was a fan of Italian Rap but this has a great sound to it. I think the is Fedez’s best song in a while and I can absolutely imagine this absolutely going off late in the club from Trieste too Taranto. It has a toughness which I think would be great for Eurovision" ~Tim
"Epic production, good vocals, compelling stage presence - this has it all. Fedez stares down the camera with those demonic blank eyes and delivers one of the best songs of national final season. Absolutely fantastic." ~Craig
