The comments
Something about Serbia’s entry this year just won’t leave my head, and it’s one of the first ones I remember. Such a lasting impression basically guarantees I’d vote for it. ~ Ford
A very pleasant song. It does not re-invent the wheel but is certainly worth listening to. However, it seems safe and may lack a specific memorable moment in the minds of voters, which could be its downfall. ~ Wade
It wouldn’t be Junior Eurovision without a young boy with floppy brown hair singing about falling in love at a mildly concerning age. Overall this is a lovely little tune – it doesn’t knock your socks off but is a nicely put together package and I’m sure will gather more than enough televotes. ~ Liv
It is a pleasant song with a young man who has a nice voice. It is lovely to hear the Serbian language and I can appreciate the melody of this tune but that is it. It is not a winning song. It is very by-the-numbers for me. ~ Fleur
Petar's vocal is impressive and the song has great production with the subtle heartbeat effects throughout. The problem Serbia faces this year is getting lost in the pack of ballads at this years contest. ~ Cooper
It does sound contemporary but it feels too old for him. Ultimately the song is a little middle of the road and just doesn’t grab my attention. I think Petar is a talented artist but the song just doesn’t match well for him. Easily my 12th out of the list. ~ Dale
A modernish 'boy ballad' that is a little on the basic side, but may appeal to the Junior Eurovision demographic. Nothing to challenging vocally for Petar here, so I expect a solid live performance. The whole thing seems to lack impact for me. ~ Mike
This is such a middle of the road song for me. I don’t mind it, but it’s kind of boring and unmemorable. I don’t expect Serbia will do very well this year. ~ Ally
Serbia at Junior Eurovision
Serbia made their debut at Junior Eurovision as an independent nation in 2006, after having competed as a part of Serbia and Montenegro in 2005. Since then, they have competed 11 times, missing the 2011, 2012 and 2013 contests. They have never won the contest, but their best result has been third place. They achieved that feat twice, in 2007 with Nevena Božović (who then went on to represent Serbia at the adult contest in 2013 and 2019) and in 2010 with Sonja Skoric.
