Andria Putkaradze is 11 years old and hails from the seaside city of Batumi. He loves singing and began at just two years old and one day hopes to be a successful singer. Andria also plays the piano.

The song To My Mum was composed by Giga Kukhianidze and Maka Davitaya. Giga Kukhianidze has written the majority of Georgia's Junior Eurovision songs including the nation's three wins in 2008, 2011 and 2016.

The song is sung in Georgian, and when the lyrics are translated into English, they are particularly poetic. The ballad has big vocals from Andria, which are accompanied by orchestral backing with almost a Disney vibe.

Andria Putkaradze won the national section, Ranina in May 2024, however there was a delay in the announcement of Andria to represent Georgia. Ranina is the same format Georgia has used now for seven seasons. Held over five shows, a jury awards points for the following four criteria: vocals, performance, collaboration and artistry. Andria was one of three singers to make it to the last stage.
