
Kyle Alessandro has won Melodi Grand Prix 2025 and with it the ticket to represent Norway at Eurovision in Switzerland in May.
Winning both the jury and televote, Kyle prevailed over eight other acts with his song Lighter. Nataleen's The Game finished in 2nd place followed by 1985 Eurovision winners Bobbysocks! with Joyful.

Held at Oslo Spektrum. the final was hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby. 2024 winners Gåte opened the show with a performance of their winning song Ulveham. Norwegian twins Marcus & Martinus who represented Sweden at Eurovision in 2024, performed during the interval.

The winner was determined by 60% public vote (Norwegian viewers) and 40% international jury vote.
Norway will compete in the second half of the first semi-final which will be held on Tuesday 13 May CET.
