Latvia: Supernova 2022 semi-final results

The semi-final of Latvia’s national final, Supernova, took place this morning.

All 17 acts performed as part of the semi-final. However, Latvia's Eurovision 2015 act (and this year's red-hot favourite) Aminata was unable to attend in person due to COVID-19 isolation requirements. She delivered a spectacular iso performance by video-link.

The following 10 acts have progressed to the grand final, to take place next week. These acts were chosen by a 50-50 split of televote and jury, Eurovision-style:

• Aminata - 'I'm Letting You Go'

• Bermudu Divstūris - 'Bad'

• Bujāns - 'He, She, You & Me'

• Citi Zēni - 'Eat Your Salad'

• Elīna Gluzunova - 'Es pabiju tur'

• Inspo - 'A Happy Place'

• Linda Rušeniece - 'Pay My Own Bills'

• Mēs Jūs Mīlam - 'Rich Itch'

• Miks Galvanovskis - 'I'm Just a Sinner'

• Raum - 'Plans'

Those eliminated from the competition were:

• Beatrise Heislere - 'On The Way Home'

• Katō - 'Promises'

• Markus Riva - 'If You're Gonna Love Me'

• Miks Dukurs - 'First Love'

• Patriks Peterson - 'Can't Get You Outta My Head'

• The Coco'nuts - 'In And Out Of The Dark'

• Zelma - 'How'

The Grand Final of Supernova will take place next week on February 13, 2022 in Australia. You can watch here from the following times in each Australian timezone:
