After five weeks of heats, Lithuania has chosen and will be represented by rock act Katarsis at Eurovision 2025. This is the first time Lithuania has sent a rock act to Eurovision with the song Tavo Akys.
All 12 songs competed for a spot in the super final and were chosen via a 50% public 50% jury vote. The super final of three songs was a 100% public vote.

Lithuania has competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 24 times since 1994. Lithuania has qualified for the final 17 times, and more recently the country has seen success with qualifying the last four years. Lithuania's best result is 6th place in 2006 by LT United with We Are the Winners. Songs in English do make up the majority of Lithuanian entries, however there is a move towards songs in the Lithuanian language being chosen for Eurovision (since 2022). Silvester Belt represented Lithuania last year with Luktelk where he finished in 14th place.
