Lord Of The Lost to represent Germany at Eurovision 2023 with 'Blood and Glitter'



Deutschland has decided!


Following this evening's (or morning's) 'Unser Lied für Liverpool' national selection process, Lord Of The Lost with 'Blood & Glitter' was confirmed as the act and entry representing Germany at the 2023 Eurovision Grand Final on Saturday, 13 May.





'Unser Lied für Liverpool' was broadcast live from MMC Studios in Cologne and hosted - as ever - by Germany's 2015-2022 Eurovision spokesperson and previous national final compere Barbara Schöneberger.


Online voting to crown this year's German representative began over a week ago, with the voting window remaining open until minutes before the broadcast began. Combined with live televoting (including by SMS), these public votes accounted for 50% of the artists' scores.


The remaining 50% were allocated by an international jury; the 12 points from each international jury went to:

Lord Of The lost was ranked second by the Aussievision team in our team poll before today's contest, and will follow in the footsteps of Malik Harris who represented Germany last year, sadly finishing in last/25th place with his song 'Rockstars'.


As one of the "Big Five" Eurovision countries, Germany automatically qualifies for the 2023 Eurovision Grand Final, which will be held at Liverpool Arena on Saturday, 13 May.
