Malta: MESC semi-final 1 results

This morning, Australian time, the first semi-final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (MESC) took place at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in the town of Ta’ Qali.
12 songs competed with 8 songs making it through to the Grand Final, which will be held on the evening of Saturday 8th February (Sunday morning Australian time).
During the interval break there was a special live debut performance of Czechia's artist Adonxs' ESC 2025 song - Kiss Kiss Goodbye.
The results of the semi-final were determined by a 50% combination of jury and public voting.
The 8 acts that qualified for the MESC 2025 final are:
Mark Anthony Bartolo – Hideaway
Adria Twins – Qalb ma’ Qalb
Justin Shorfid – Still I Rise
JVF – Festa (No Time for Siesta)
Kristy Spiteri – Heaven Sent
Raquela - Silenced
Victoria - Juno
Kurt Calleja – Aziz/a

MESC semi-final 2 will take place on Thursday 6th February (Friday morning Australian time) with the second half of 12 artists to perform - including the eagerly-anticipated Miriana Conte.
The MESC Grand Final will take place the evening of Saturday 8th February (Sunday morning Australian time) where 16 artists will battle it out to see who will represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.
