
For the second year in a row, a bloke named Marko will be representing Croatia at Eurovision.
The Balkan nation's successor to Baby Lasanga has been determined with Marko Bošnjak winning the grand final of Croatia's Eurovision selection contest DORA this morning (AEST).
Bošnjak triumphed following two semi-finals earlier in the week and over a field of 15 other finalists with his song Poison Cake. He scored 130 points overall, edging out Ogenj with Daj, Daj on 120 points, with pre-show bookies favourite Magazin finishing third with AaAaA on 111 points.
The winner was determined by votes from an international jury, a national jury and the public. Bošnjak won the jury vote with 72 points and came fourth in the public vote with 47 points to win overall. Runner-up Ogenj won the public vote with 78 points, and came equal fifth in the public vote with 42 points.

Bošnjak will be looking to go one-better for Croatia in Basel, Switzerland in May after the Balkan nation had its best ever result last year and almost claimed its first Eurovision crown with Baby Lasanga and his song Rim Tim Tagi Dim. Baby Lasanga - aka Marko Purišić - won the public vote but finished runner-up overall to Switzerland's Nemo with their song The Code.
Croatia will compete in the second half of semi final one at Eurovision 2025, to be held on Tuesday 13 May.
