Portugal: 'Festival da Canção' 2022 semi-final 1 results

The 56th edition of the Portuguese Eurovision national selection show ‘Festival da Canção’ took place this weekend with the first semi-final.

Ten acts performed in the semi-final with only five advancing through to the Final. The qualifying acts were chosen through a 50/50 combination of jury and public televoting.

Semi-final 1 results:

Qualifiers through to the Final on March 12:

• Os Quatro e Meia - 'Amanhã'

• Aurea - 'Why?'

• FF - 'Como é bom esperar alguém'

• Diana Castro - 'Ginger Ale'

• Maro - 'Saudade, saudade'

The entries that missed out on the final to qualify:

• TheMisterDriver - 'Calisun'

• Norton - 'Hope'

• Kumpania Algazarra - 'A minha praia'

• Valas and Os Astronautas - 'Odisseia'

• Fado Bicha - 'Povo pequenino'

The five qualifying entries will compete in the Grand Final of 'Festival da Canção' on March 12. Semi-final two will take place on March 7 with the other ten potential entries.
