The hosts for Eurovision 2025 in Basel revealed

The hosts of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel were revealed by Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR overnight.


The hosts will be an all-female team of Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker and Sandra Studer.


According to SRG SSR the team will bring European diversity and the Swiss values of openness, integration and community to the show.


Sandra will be familiar to some as a former Eurovision artists. She competed in 1991 under the stage name Sandra Simó finishing 5th with Canzone Per Te. She is also a presenter and singer.



Hazel was born in the United States, grew up near Zurich and now lives in Germany. As an award-winning comedian she is known for her dry humour and has been labelled the "queen of wit." stand-up comedian she is


Michelle is an entertainer who has appeared on shows across Europe. This includes German and Italian television shows such Wetten, dass..?, Striscia la Notizia and the Italian Sanremo Music Festival.





The Co-Executive Producers of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Moritz Stadler and Reto Peritz, explained their decision to choose the trio.


"For the world’s biggest show, it was important for us to recruit hosts who bring more than just presenting skills – Hazel, Sandra, and Michelle bring unique versatility with additional talents such as comedy, dance and singing," they said.


"We are incredibly proud to have signed such impressive and diverse women as hosts. Together, the team reflects the cultural and linguistic diversity of our country and embodies Switzerland's openness, its ability to bridge cultures, and its feeling of being home to everyone – true to our Swiss motto 'Welcome Home'."
