The Top 5 Eurovision On Tour artists as voted by fans

Australian fans were privileged to see 16 incredible Eurovision acts in November

They were visiting as part of Eurovision On Tour, which included shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

We recently surveyed those who attended to get their views on the tour. You can see the results of that here.

In addition, we asked them to vote for their favourite performances from the artists and the results are in.

All were amazing but these artists rose that little bit above the rest according to fans.

=5. Silia Kapsis (Cyprus / Australia)

The Sydney teenager represented Cyprus at Eurovision this year making the final with Liar. With Australia missing out on qualifying, much of our support went to Silia where she did us proud in the Grand Final.

She had a welcome return to Australia and performed a fully choreographed cover of Fuego as well as an energetic version of her Eurovision song.

=5. Senhit (San Marino)

Senhit has always been popular among Aussie fans thanks to her represented the plucky nation of San Marino at Eurovision.

Not only did she perform her songs, but she also co-hosted the show with Soraya and did many rounds of press interviews to promote the show.

4. The Roop (Lithuania)

The Lithuanian group have always been fan-favourite and they showed that Down Under. They brought their quirky choreography and charisma to the shows and got out and about in each city to make the most of their time in Australia - including climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

3. The Sunstroke Project (Moldova)

These guys were always going to be popular! The group received 12 points from the public vote in 2017 from Australia and that love was shown to them again during the tour.

The crowds reached fever pitch when Epic Sax Guy did his signature moves. They happily met with fans before, during and after the show and were extremely popular.

2. Dami Im (Australia)

Dami is pipped at the post again! The Australian Eurovision legend received a huge ovation from home fans at each of the shows. She performed the full Eurovision version of Sound of Silence before paying homage to Conchita Wurst with a rousing rendition of Rise Like a Phoenix.

1. Destiny (Malta)

Due to the pandemic, Aussie fans didn't get to see Destiny perform live at Eurovision 2021 (or the cancelled 2020 edition). The wait was worth it as she belted out her two Eurovision songs and a cover of Loreen's Euphoria.

Nearly every fan we chatted to after the event was blown away by her and she comes out as the fan-favourite for Eurovision On Tour 2024.

Which artists did better in which cities?

Just like countries voting in Eurovision, there were slight differences between which each city liked.

Other than the Top 5 from above, these cities voted these artists higher.

Brisbane

Ovi and Ilinca (Romania)

Brisbane fans put the Romanian in 4th place, the highest of any city. The love of Australia was consistently shared by the pair on their socials as well.

Soraya (Spain)

The Spanish co-host did the best in Brisbane, coming 8th in the fan vote.

Melbourne

Suzy (Portugal)

Suzy was loved everywhere but it was Melbourne where she ranked highest - 6th place!

Perhaps her crowd involvement made the biggest difference in Melbourne where the crowd was seated and needed her encouragement to let loose!

Nicki French (UK)

The British Eurovision star finished 9th in the Melbourne fan-vote, the highest of all three cities.

Sydney

Efendi (Azerbaijan)

Efendi performed her 2020 and 2021 Eurovision songs and was the 7th favourite of fans in Sydney.

Even if artists didn't make this top list, they were still loved by many on the night.

We hope to see a tour of Eurovision artists in Australia again!
