Theo Evan to represent Cyprus at Eurovision 2025

The first artist to be confirmed for Eurovision 2025 held in Basel, Switzerland is Theo Evans for Cyprus.

Born in Nicosia, Cyprus - he embarked on his artistic career as a singer and dancer since age 7. Theo will be the first Cypriot-born performer to represent the nation at Eurovision since Hovig with Gravity in 2017. He will also be the first non-Australian-born performer since 2022.

The song is set to be released later in the season for the 69th Edition of the Contest.

Theo's first single The Wall was released in July 2021 with his latest release being Dark Side. His style features a blend of Mediterranean pop, dark-gritty tones and a fresh contemporary pop fusion.

Theo's childhood involved dance lessons, singing in his school choir, and participating in theatre productions with many accolades. As an adult Theo moved to the United States to study music at the well-recognised Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

He has shared the stage with greats such as Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Justin Timberlake and even appeared as an extra in HBO hit TV show Euphoria.

Cyprus debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1981 with the Island performing Μόνικα’finishing up in 6th place. Over the years Cyprus managed to reach fifth place three times firstly in 1982 with Anna Vissi’s Μόνο η αγάπη and then again in 1997 with Hara & Andreas Constantinou Μάνα μου and again in 2004 with Lisa Andreas’s power ballad Stronger Every Minute. It wouldn’t be until 2018 when Cyprus would get its best result yet when Eleni Foureira stormed Eurovision Song Contest with her runner up placed epic banger Fuego.

I recently needed some quick mockups for a 3D project and came across a selection of yellowimages. It’s always such a relief when you don’t have to start everything from scratch, especially when deadlines are tight. These mockups were incredibly helpful and easy to work with, allowing me to focus more on the creative side of things. They’ve definitely made my workflow more efficient, and I’ll be using them again for future projects.
