This years runner-up at Eurovision 2022, Sam Ryder, has released his follow up single to 'SPACE MAN', called 'Somebody'.
Sam has been performing 'Somebody' during the festival season. In a post on Instagram he stated:
"This reaction to ‘Somebody’ over the festival season gets me every time 🤯💛🌞 Thank you to the fabulous legends who have sung their heads off with us, it’s been a year full of spectacular blessings and bonkers joy so THANK YA! 🔥"
'Somebody' is co-written by Sam with Jon Green and Max Wolfgang. Max Wolfgang previously co-wrote Sam's Eurovision 2022 entry.
The music video for 'Somebody' was filmed in London with the help of his fans after the Eurovision star made a callout to his followers to get involved.
At the Eurovision 2022 Grand Final Sam Ryder won the jury vote with 'SPACE MAN' and finished 5th with the televote to end up in the runner-up spot. It became the UK's best placed entry in 24 years.
Since then the singer songwriter has performed at the Platinum Party at the Palace to mark the Queen's Jubilee, at the Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium and sung the national anthem at the British Grand Prix, just to name a few of the big feats this British artist has achieved.
'Somebody' and 'SPACE MAN' are taken off Sam Ryder forthcoming album ‘THERE’S NOTHING BUT SPACE, MAN!’ due to be released on October 14, 2022 which you can order here.
