Success on stage at Eurovision doesn't always translate into chart success or that your song will continue to be listened to after contest.
We've had a look at the numbers from Spotify to see which songs were streamed most before during and after Eurovision in 2018. The top 10 were:
1. Eleni Foureira - Fuego - 48,170,949
2. Michael Schulte - You Let Me Walk Alone - 30,216,260
3. Netta - Toy - 28,610,295

'Fuego' has been a popular song among fans and this has translated into success for Eleni, with almost 20 million more streams than second place. That went to Germany's Michael Schulte whose radio friendly song beat out Eurovision winner 'Toy' which had to settle for third.
Amaia and Alfred's success in Spain's OT translated to their top 10 position and Saara Aalto's popularity also led to a high standing. The rest of the rankings were:

Songs that relied on strong vocals (Estonia, Albania) or those where staging elevated their position (Moldova, Serbia) didn't see high numbers of streams.
Making the final is also vital, only one non-qualifier (Poland) managed to make the top 20.
Regardless of how they performed, having the exposure of Eurovision gave the majority of artists their most streams ever and by some margin. 37 of the 43 songs received over 1 million streams.
Australia's Jessica Mauboy finished in 13th in the Spotify rankings but is still 5 million streams off 2017 entrant Isaiah with 'Don't Come Easy'. Dami Im's 'Sound of Silence' has 14 million.
